Your submission gives us the basic information needed to review the property and current assessor availability.
If the request can progress, we contact you with the full price and proposed timing. You can then decide whether to proceed. A booking is confirmed only after you accept the quote and pay the first 50%.
Eligible existing-home property scope
You can submit a request for:
Owner-occupiers, landlords or investors, tenants, prospective buyers and authorised representatives may start a request. Required permissions, consent and access are confirmed before an assessment proceeds.
This service does not provide new-home, BASIX, major-renovation or National Construction Code compliance ratings or certificates.
Starting price and final quote
From $599
The starting price covers the Home Energy Rating assessment and certificate. Your final price depends on the property’s size, location and complexity.
We confirm the full price, assessor availability and proposed timing before you pay anything. If you accept the quote, the initial 50% payment confirms the booking. We request the remaining 50% after the assessment, modelling and required checks are complete, immediately before the assessor issues the certificate.
What happens after submission
We review every genuine request. If service cannot currently be confirmed for your location, we will explain this personally. We will ask your permission before retaining your details for possible future availability.

What happens after I submit my request?
We send an automatic receipt, review the property details and contact you to confirm assessor availability, your full price and proposed timing. Submitting the form does not confirm a booking or take payment.
How are availability, price and timing confirmed?
Each request is reviewed individually. Your final price depends on the property’s size, location and complexity. We confirm the full price and proposed timing before you decide whether to proceed.
Which property types can start a request?
Freestanding houses, semi-detached houses or terraces, townhouses or duplexes, and individual apartments can start a request. Every request remains subject to property, access, location and assessor-availability review.
Can a tenant or authorised representative submit a request?
Yes. Tenants, prospective buyers, agents, brokers and other authorised representatives may start a request. The required owner, representative or tenant permissions, consent and property access must be confirmed before the assessment proceeds.
What happens if an assessor is not currently available in my location?
We will contact you personally and explain the position. We will ask your permission before retaining your details for possible future availability. We do not automatically refer your request to another provider.
How will my information be used?
Home Energy Ratings Australia uses the information to review and respond to your request and manage the assessment process. If you proceed, the assigned assessor receives only the information reasonably needed for the assessment, consent, access, certificate delivery and technical follow-up.
